Bigg Boss is coming back, and this time it’s a big one — season 20. The show starts on September 6, 2026, and fans are already excited to see what’s changed this year.
When and Where to Watch

Salman Khan is Back Again
Salman Khan is once again hosting the show, and honestly, most fans wouldn’t want it any other way. There’s already a teaser out, and it’s got people talking. In it, Salman shows up with a horse and says a line that connects to his old movie Karan Arjun — something like “Jo Karan Arjun mein hua tha, woh hoga ab Bigg Boss mein… haa haa thathastu!”
Because of that line, people think this season might bring back old contestants somehow, or there’s some kind of “second chance” twist coming. Salman himself said this season will have a new game and some twists nobody’s expecting, and told people to watch the teaser carefully for hints.

The theme for the season is being called “Tathastu!” which basically means “so be it.” Along with that, there are talks of something called “Extra Jeevan Daan” — think of it as an extra life for contestants. This year, the house is getting a fresh design. The people who usually design the Bigg Boss house — Omung Kumar and his wife Vanita — are not doing it this time. Apparently, the makers are planning something big — all the regional versions of Bigg Boss (in different languages) might launch around the same time this festive season. So it’s not just the Hindi season getting attention this time.
