MTV Roaides is coming back with its brand-new season on television and OTT platforms. The long-running adventure reality show Roadies is coming with it Season 21 Roadies Rebirth. This time not only for its contestant and tasks but this season is in headlines because of its completely different format. The biggest twist of the season is this season will have six Gang leaders for the first time, but these six Gand leaders will not lead individual gangs. Instead, they are divided in two big camps – OGs vs NewGs.

Along with all this another major update for Roadies fans is that Rannvijay Singha will be returning as the host once again and season 21 will premiere on October 16, 2026. New episodes will be streamed every Friday and Saturday at 7 PM. The show will telecast on MTV and stream on Netflix and JioHotstar both.

Rannvijay Singha Returns as Host

The connection between Roadies and Rannvijay is one of the most recognizable associations. Now with Roadies Rebirth Rannvijay will be seen as a host once again. His return brings familiar element for long-term Roadies fans, but the overall setup is very different. This season will be nothing like traditional gang leader competition but a battle between two major camps.

Roadies Rebirth has Six Gang Leaders

The biggest change in Roadies Rebirth format is its six-gang leader setup. But the important part is six gang leaders will not form six separate gangs, instead they will be divided into two teams:

OGs

  • Nikhil Chinapa
  • Neha Dhupia
  • Prince Narula

NewGs

  • Abhishek Malhan
  • Bani J
  • Baseer Ali

In this format all three gang leaders from the same camp will handle the contestant and strategy in a larger team, which means the competition will be between OG camp vs NewG camp.

Who are the OG Gang Leaders?

OG camp consists of three familiar names of the Roadies franchise – Nikhil Chinapa, Neha Dhupia and Prince Narula. Nikhil Chinapa is one of the old and familiar faces of Roadies. Neha Dhupia also has been an important part of Gand Leader setup, Prince Narula has made a strong presence in the Gang Leader role and he also is the winner of Roadies as a contestant. Now all three of them will be competing as a combined OG camp.

Who are the NewG Gang Leaders?

NewG camp consists of Abhishek Malhan, Bani J and Baseer Ali. Abhishek Malhan who is also known as Fukra Insaan is a well-known face of digital entertainment and reality television. He is making an entry into Roadies as a Gang Leader.

Bani J also has an old connection with Roadies only this time she is entering as a Gang Leader and not a contestant.  Also, Baseer Ali has been a familiar face for Roadies as a contestant, but now he is making a return. So basically, NewGs does not mean that everyone is completely new faces for Roadies, but the concept of “NewGs” represent newer generation of leadership.

What is OGs vs NewGs Format?

The entire concept of Roadies Rebirth is built around OGs vs NewGs. In the previous seasons players were divided into different Gang Leader’s groups and individual gangs perform against each other. But in Season 21 the system has been changed, three OG Gang Leaders will build an OG camp three NewG Gang Leaders will represent NewG camp.

This means that along with the contestants Gang Leaders also have to work as a team. Camp level decisions will play an important role in contestant selection, strategy and challenges.

Roadies Rebirth Auditions

Aspiring Roadies from cities like Delhi-NCR, Chandigarh, Kolkata and Pune tried their best to make a spot in Roadies. The makers prominently introduced the concept of OGs vs NewGs in the Chandigarh auditions. Auditions have always been an important part of Roadies as this is the stage where contestant have to impress the Gang Leaders with their personality, physical ability and determination.
