The current week of Big Boss 20 is filled with drama, arguments and captaincy twists. On one side it was the clash between Qazi Touqeer and Kanika Mann raised the temperature of the house, on the other hand we saw an interesting format of eliminating contestants from captaincy task.

The biggest twist was Gulllu getting eliminated from the captaincy race during the Dolly task. After this the final three contenders for captaincy were Yung DSA, Mahhi Vij and Uditi Singh. Later on, they got an unexpected power which resulted in Rhiti Tiwari’s mid-week eviction.

Qazi vs Kanika

The equation between Qazi Touqeer and Kanika Mann has been complicated since the start of the show. This week the tension between them heated for a comment made by Qazi. During the episode a “Lollipop” comment made Kanika uncomfortable and she took it seriously. The argument was not limited between two contestant but turned into a topic of discussion for the whole house.

The comment was explained in a different context by Qazi but Kanika remained clear on her objection. This incident highlighted the existing friction between them even more.

Captaincy Race Takes a New Turn

The game was not limited till physical strength and performance for the captaincy task. Bigg Boss introduced a unique Dolly task to eliminate the contestants. They had a miniature doll in the task named Dolly. Female contestant was supposed to get the microphone and become the voice of Dolly. Who ever wins the microphone, she can give commands and dares to male contestants for that particular round. Male contestants were supposed to follow the commands. Some dares were funny; some were physically challenging but the most important part was miniature elimination mechanism.

Yung DSA’s Pool Dare

The most interesting moment was in Round 3. In this round Yung DSA was given a pool related dare, he was supposed to jump in the pool and dance on “Blue Hai Paani” song. This task was fun until the most important elimination of the captaincy race happened. After his dare Love Gill gave Yung the command to destroy Gullu’s miniature and Yung completed his task by destroying the miniature and along with that Gullu’s hopes for becoming the captain.

Mahhi, Uditi and Yung Get a Special Power

After becoming the final three contenders for captaincy Yung DSA, Mahhi Vij and Uditi Singh were given an unexpected responsibility. All three of them were supposed to go to the secret room and take a lifeline. They decided to target Rhiti Tiwari after discussing among themselves.

Rhiti Tiwari’s Mid-Week Eviction

The decision made by the three contenders resulted in mid-week eviction of Rhiti Tiwari. Rhiti’s eviction was different than Weekend Ka Vaar elimination. According to reports, this was the first mid-week eviction where instead of audience voting, captaincy contenders took a decision in secret room. This twist was surprising for housemates as well as viewers because it was the first time that captaincy contenders got direct power in elimination decision.

Big Boss 20’s New Power Equation

Now Yung Dsa, Mahhi Vij and Uditi Singh are in important positions. After Gullu’s elimination Yung got a noticeable position, while Mahhi and Uditi also secured their place in the captaincy race. The biggest impact of this task was not only deciding the next captain, but through this task Rhiti Tiwari got evicted mid-week and existing equations became more complicated.

Now, it will be interesting to see who becomes the captain among Yung DSA, Mahhi Vij and Uditi Singh and how will the power equation change after Gullu’s elimination from captaincy.
