The house environment is once again heated up in Big Boss 20 for the captaincy. Kushal Tanwar aka Gullu has won the captaincy once again. This time the format of the task was also quite interesting where red ball and green ball decided the fate of the contestants. We saw arguments, physical tussle and personal equations in the task.

This captaincy was even more important for Gullu because he was already the captain and becoming the captain for the second time in a row could change the house dynamics. According to reports the captaincy battle was intense but he still managed to win and secure his position.

How Gullu Entered the Captaincy Race Again

Gullu’s captaincy race did not start straight from the green ball task, before that Big Boss made contestants compete in different rounds for the captaincy. In the last captaincy cycle Gullu made a strong position for himself and made a spot in the captaincy race. At one point Gullu, Rhiti Tiwari, Mahi Vij and Kanika Maan were the names that were in the contenders.

After this the captaincy race became more intense. Gullu was appointed as a sanchalak in a Diss Battle task where Team Yung DSA and Team Qazi competed against each other. But the story never ended there. In the next task contenders had to compete in the captaincy race once again.

Rejection Stamp Task Changed the Captaincy Equation

Big Boss gave an unusual power to the contestants to opposing team. They had to put a rejection stamp on the captaincy contenders. Asif got the most rejection stamps after which he was eliminated from the race and Mary Kom got no rejection stamp. This proved that only winning the task was not important, support from the housemates was equally important.

Team Yung Chose Rhiti, Love and Mary Kom

After the rejection round Big Boss gave the power to Team Yung to choose final three contenders who will move forward. Team Yung selected Rhiti Tiwari, Love Gill and Mary Kom as the final three contenders for the captaincy race. The contradiction was that after getting so many rejection stamps, she was still in the final list because it was two different stages.

Green Post vs Red Ball Post

This time Big Boss divided the garden area in five circles and every circle had one pair of contestants in it. The pairing was like this:

  • Yung DSA – Qazi Touqeer
  • Kanika Mann – Arishfa Khan
  • Uditi Singh – Isha Rikhi
  • Amrapali Dubey – Mahhi Vij
  • Scout OP – Aman Gandhi

Asif Khan was given the responsibility of a sanchalak for this task. Balls were dropped in the garden area and it had picture of contestant on the ball. Pair was supposed to stay in the circle and capture the ball and the fight happened among the contestant for the possession of the ball. The most important element for this task was Green and Red Post.

What did the Green Post Mean?

The simple rule of the task was to put the ball in the Green Post. The player with their picture on the ball will advance in the captaincy if it goes in the green post whereas if your ball reaches the Red Post, you will be eliminated from the captaincy race. The stakes were high for everyone with each ball. One wrong decision was your captaincy journey is over.

Rhiti Tiwari’s Ball Creates Trouble

The drama started from the beginning of the task when Rhiti Tiwari’s ball came to the garden. According to reports Mahhi Vij caught the ball with Rhiti’s picture and the pair of Mahhi and Amrapali put the ball in the Red Post. This decision impacted her captaincy hopes. The difference between personal equations and strategy was seen from the very first moment of the task.

Gullu’s Ball Goes into the Green Post

The competition turned more intense as the game continued. According to reports Gullu’s ball reached the Green Post ultimately which gave him a strong position in the captaincy and he survived this stage. After that moment Gullu supporters were excited because after being a captain for the whole week, he had secured another chance to continue hi captaincy.

Yung DSA and Qazi Touqeer Clash

The most heated moment of the task happened when the confrontation between Yung DSA and Qazi Touqeer happened. They both have a rivalry going on from weeks and even during the task tension was high. The situation became so heated that it turned into a major argument.

Final Captaincy Battle

After different stages and task developments the competition ultimately was left between Gullu. Rhiti, Love and Mary Kom. These three as the final contenders was after the rejection stamp task when Team Yung decided the three names. Green Ball-Red Ball was the next stage of deciding the captaincy. That is why after getting her ball in the red post Rhiti was not completely out of the captaincy race.

Gullu Becomes Captain Again

After an intense competition Gullu took the moment and became the captain once again. According to reports Gullu became the second consecutive captain of Big Boss 20.

The whole captaincy track was filled with multiple layers. Firstly, housemates got the power to get one contender out in the stamp task and after that Team Yung chose three contenders from their team. The decision of throwing Rhiti’s ball in the Red Post and at the end Gullu coming back strong winning and becoming the captain again. Overall, it was a power packed sequence of events.
