The much-awaited movie starring Allu Arjun and directed by
Atlee Raaka is in headlines even before the release. The movie has achieved a
major Guinness World Record that highlights his large-scale production and
advanced technology. Raaka has a Guinness World in the category of “Most People
Motion-Captured in Real-Time”. 37 performers were captured in real-time motion
at the same time.
37 Performers were Captured Simultaneously
According to Guinness World Record this was achieved on
September 15, 2026 in Mumbai. This motion-capture session has 37 performers who
participated simultaneously. The special thing about this achievement was that age
range of the performers was also very wide. Reports suggested that participants
included a 4-year child and even a 70-year-old performer. To accurately track
so many performers at the same time was a major technical challenge for the
production team and a specially designed motion capture setup was used to make
this possible.
Advanced Technology Behind the Record
The makers of Raaka used advanced motion-capture technology
for this sequence. According to reports there were 92 optical motion-capture
cameras setup to make it possible. Production team also used Unreal Engine for
real-time visualization. Along with all this facial tracking and witness-feed
technology was a part of the setup.
In motion capture filmmaking the movements of actors are
digitally recorded and after these movements are used in digital characters and
visual effects creation. In case of Raaka simultaneously capturing 37
performers shows the large-scale use of this technology.
