Prime Minister Narendra Modi has recently spoken with flydubai pilot Smit Machchaar and praised him for his bravery and courage. After the recent incident at one of the flydubai’s flight Captain Smit Machchaar has come into national attention and PM Modi has also contacted him to ask about his current health condition.

PM Modi Speaks to Smit Machchaar

PM Modi had a conversation with Captain Smit Machchaar on Friday. During this interaction Prime Minister asked about his health situation and recovery process update. He also appreciated Captain Smit and said the courage and determination he displayed in such difficult circumstances was remarkable. He also gave hi best wishes for the speedy recovery of Smit Machchaar. This conversation happened when Smit was going through his medical treatment and recovery after the incident.

PM Modi Had Earlier Called him a Hero

PM Modi has already acknowledged Captain Smit Machchaar’s bravery publicly. After the incident Prime Minister described him as a “hero” and said he displayed immense courage in extreme danger.

The Prime Minister also highlighted that the action of Captain Smit played an important role in the safety of passengers and crew members present in that flight. Along with his bravery’s discussions Captain Smit’s calm approach and decision making making in difficult situation has been the center of attention between the social media and public discussions.

Hanuman Chalisa Gave him Strength

During the conversation of Smit Machchaar with PM Modi, he mentioned an aspect of his personal experience. According to reports, he was reciting Hanuman Chalisa during the difficult moments. Reportedly he said that faith gave him the strength during difficult situation. After this fact the discussion regarding his spiritual belief also started regulating. His experience depicts that people can take motivation from their faith and inner strength during extreme circumstances.

Focus Now on his Recovery

After his conversation with Smit Machchaar, PM Modi also spoke to his wife and parents and expressed hi support and concern regarding his recovery. This is obviously a challenging period for the family but talking directly with PM Modi gave them a little bit of strength.

According to MEA, he was given initial medical treatment at Tabuk, Saudi Arabia after the emergency landing. Then he was transferred yo Abhu Dhabi where his continuous medical care and recovery is ongoing.
